Re-cutting Your Old Roll

Player-Care is now in a position to 'Re-cut Your Old Roll' to exacting tolerances. As you might expect, this is not an inexpensive venture. However, no other enterprise on the planet offers this service. So, the question is, "How much do you love your old roll? And, do you want an exact duplicate?"

First, let's discuss the cost. The minimum cost is $145.00 for ONE ROLL!! BUT, that includes the roll, the box, and a label that is virtually an exact replica of the original label. The maximum processing time is four (4) months. However, it could be much less depending on the number of people who are desiring to have their old roll re-cut.

Player-Care is extremely confident concerning the quality of the new music rolls. We are so confident that we are offering a "money-back" guarantee if the roll does not meet or exceed your expectations. However, there is one (perhaps) serious drawback to this service. The rolls DO NOT have the words printed on the roll. BUT, having done this myself, it is not a very difficult task to print the words on the paper by hand as the roll is advanced from chord to chord (or note-to-note).

Here's how the process works. You send me your old music roll. Depending on the exact length of the roll, I will send you a contract which outlines what you will receive and exactly how much it will cost (including postage). (FYI, if you know the exact length of the roll -in feet-, determining the cost will be easier.) Once you agree to the contract, you will be required to pay the full amount in advance. The accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal. Please note that there is a $35/hr charge for work required to repair the roll before scanning. Generally speaking, rolls that have minor damage to the edges can be scanned without being repaired. However, if the roll is ripped, it will have to be repaired before it can be scanned.

In all fairness and honesty, it must also be stated that Player-Care and the roll duplicating service reserve the right to offer any roll that is re-cut to the general public at a later date for a price which they deem appropriate. Furthermore, it should be known that QRS use to offer the same service to the general public about 20 years ago. At that time, they charged $165.00 per copy to duplicate any of their rolls. They too reserved the right to sell additional copies to the general public at their discretion.

As a final note, the prices explained above relate to regular 88-note music rolls. If the roll is in some other format, i.e., expression, reproducing, recordo, etc., the price will be higher.

Since "Player-Care" is an internet business, I prefer that we correspond via E-Mail (click here to fill out the 'Request Form'). However, if I'm not in the middle of some other activity, you can reach me at 732-840-8787. But please understand that during the hours from 9AM-5PM (EST), I'm generally quite busy. So, I probably won't answer the phone. If you get the answering machine, please leave a detailed message stating the reason for your call. Also, repeat your name and phone number clearly and distinctly. By necessity, I prioritize everything in my life. And, if you call and just leave your name and number, and ask me to call you back, it might be a day or two before I return your call. Why? Because I don't know why you want me to call and I might not be prepared to assist you in an effective and efficient manner. If you leave me an E-Mail address (which I prefer), spell it out phonetically. The more you do to help me, the more I can help you in return. Don't rush. You have four minutes to record your message.
