Dear Music Roll Collector. 

Just to let you know that my latest music roll auction No. 38, closing date of May 4, 2008, is now up on my web site at   http://home.earthlink.net/~rollertunes   

What's there in the auction this time?  

  a..  AMPICO rolls: A fantastic collection of over 400 rolls have been consigned from a very nice collection. Some really nice rolls.  The good news is there is some great rolls in this auction.  The bad news is that the consignor wants the rolls sold more quickly than my roll auction will do.  So, in addition to auctioning off the rolls; 1.  We will be selling box lots of 25 top hat rolls and some of the large rolls that may have some edge issues at a rate of $6.00 per roll for a box lot (If I pick the box lot)  If any customer would like to come in person and pick their own box lots it is $8.00 per roll for a minimum of 25 rolls.  2. Between auctions we will be placing some rolls up on EBay to expedite the sale.  That is great for those who have computers.  So in a few weeks go to EBay and you can find the AMPICO rolls that I am auctioning off under the handle of "rollertunes"
  · Duo Arts: More nice selections from the Tushinsky collection.  There are a few nice accompaniment rolls for those who collect them. 

  ·  Several great 88 note roll consignments one is from a consignor who lives near Harvard and it is a great collection with some great pop tunes dating from the 1920's up to the 1980's.  The rolls are in Beautiful shape

   We still have a few more of the fantastic collection of brand new QRS rolls that a store had that somehow missed the tax inventory and they had to get rid of.  All of these rolls are ones that are no longer in the QRS catalog. So this is probably the last time you might get a chance at some of these great tunes.  The sad part is that there is only one copy of these now rare hard to find rolls. The good news is that the beginning bids are way below the retail catalog price. A great time to get some rare rolls and save a bundle of money. Good luck on your bids

Even if you are not Jewish, you will enjoy the fantastic player piano roll performances.   · We still have some very nice rare ragtime, blues and Welte Licensee recut rolls.  

  · We have placed on our web site, a short music clip of each of the rolls that have been recut and you can listen to them to hear how they sound. Enjoy!
