Larry Norman Roll Auction
Dear Music Roll Collector.

Just to let you know that my latest music roll auction No. 39, closing date of October 27, 2008, is now up on my web site at http://home.earthlink.net/~rollertunes

What's there in the auction this time?

a.. AMPICO rolls: A fantastic collection of over 400 rolls have been consigned from a very nice collection. Some really nice rolls. The good news is there is some great rolls in this auction. More great news, is that I had problems with eBay and could not get any of the rolls for sale there. Which means that you get the chance on all of them. And More great news is that I decided to make the unprecedented move by putting the remaining 300 rolls in this auction for you to bid on. So if you are an AMPICO collector, then this auction is the one not to miss..... And of course there is the bad news... for those who may think about waiting until the end of the auction to pick up the leftover cheap... The news is that I have now got the problem with eBay corrected and can not list items there and the ampico rolls that are not doing well are going to go there and I don't have to tell you what will happen. So bid a lot and get these great rolls while you have this great chance to get them.
  · Duo Arts: More nice selections from the Tushinsky collection. There are a few nice accompaniment rolls for those who collect them.

  · Several great 88 note roll consignments and quite a few new recuts of Scott Joplin and James Scotts ragtime rolls. I have never had this many

We still have a few more of the fantastic collection of brand new QRS rolls that a store had that somehow missed the tax inventory and they had to get rid of. All of these rolls are ones that are no longer in the QRS catalog. So this is probably the last time you might get a chance at some of these great tunes. The sad part is that there is only one copy of these now rare hard to find rolls. The good news is that the beginning bids are way below the retail catalog price. A great time to get some rare rolls and save a bundle of money. Good luck on your bids

  · In addition to the Scott Joplin and James Scott rags, there are a large number of Zez Confrey rolls both in 88 note and in AMPICO rolls for those who love Zez's playing.

  · 58 note,Aeolian Pipe and Reed organ rolls

  · Some very nice Pete Wendling favorites as well.

  · You can still order the Klezemerola CD from me as I have a few more copies in stock.

b.. We still have some very nice rare ragtime, blues and Welte Licensee recut rolls.

  · We have placed on our web site, a short music clip of each of the rolls that have been recut and you can listen to them to hear how they sound. Enjoy!

  · Have fun looking over the auction and listening to the music clips. Lots of great music rolls of all types. Place your bids Now! You don't want to miss the great rolls in this auction.

Four questions:

Q1 Please let me know when you change your email address as quite a few people change theirs and it is hard to keep up. Thanks

Q2 If you no longer collect -- or -- do not wish to receive the notices of my latest roll auctions -- and-- want to be removed from the email notification list, please let me know by replying and saying "please remove my name", and I will be happy to oblige and take your name off the list. Thanks; and sorry for sending emails that are not wanted.

Q3 I have several email addresses for different people. I guess the ones that are no longer valid will obviously not work. However if you do receive this more than once and it is going to two or more of your emails, would you let me know which one you would prefer the email to come to? Thanks again.

Q4 What happens if I miss the deadline of Auction? Simple; Send in your bids anyway, but assume that your bids will only be on rolls that have not been sold, and are still listed on the auction site, so don't miss something you want now.

Musically yours

Larry
