Over the past year and a half, Gabes' 1925 Lexington Super Simplex player piano, lovingly known as "Mabel", has gone through a series of renovations including the total restoration of the player mechanism and the replacement of all the major piano action parts. As a result, 'Mabel' is perhaps the best Super Simplex on the East Coast. 'Her' repetitive ability is almost unimaginable. Recently, George Bogatko wrote an extremely challenging music roll (Improvisation #2) to test the performance of 88-note player pianos and Mabel played the piece flawlessly.

Gabe loves to share the music that comes out of Mabel. So he created a website just for her. Many of his favorite tunes can be heard at the website in either RealAudio or MP3 formats.... for free!
