Rare. Similar to the Amphion and the Ampico actions used in pianos made by the American Piano Company. The valves are similar to those found in a Standard action. The obvious difference between the American action and all those just mentioned is the placement of the striker pneumatics and the linkage, which is designed to attack the abstracts in the piano action instead of the wippens. Also, the lost motion adjustments are conveniently located for ease of maintenance. Valve travel is adjusted using paper punchings of various thicknesses.
